The "VDA requirements for the transport of QDX data" are intended to set out in a binding manner the flow of process-support information for the quality data which are transmitted. The requirements cover the over-arching subjects of electronic business traffic and the communication standards to be used for the electronic exchange of quality data; these are Web services and also OFTP (ODETTE File Transfer Protocols).
